Parking and Elevator Information
Alice Paul- Alice Paul, also known as "New Dorm" and "AP," is located in the southeast corner of campus, next to Chester Road. There is a roundabout with limited parking right next to the dorm; the roundabout is shared by two other dorms. The building has an elevator with access to every floor.
Dana- One of the two "Danawell" dorms, Dana is in the northwest corner of campus, next to the Crum Woods. Enter campus at the South Entrance and drive northwest. There is very limited parking behind Wharton, a nearby dorm. The building has no elevators, but we can place your items to your room before you arrive with our Ship to School service.
David Kemp- "DK" is next to Alice Paul, in the southeast corner of campus, next to Chester Road. There is a roundabout with limited parking right next to the dorm; the roundabout is shared by twoo. The building has an elevator with access to every floor.
Hallowell- Dana's counterpart in "Danawell," Hallowell also has limited parking behind "Wharton," a nearby dorm. Hallowell doesn't have any elevators, but we're happy to deliver your belongings to your room before you arrive with out Ship to School service.
Mary Lyon- Mary Lyon, aka ML, is the farthest dorm from campus. Mary Lyon has a parking lot approximately 50 feet from the entrance, down a small hill. The building has no elevators, but we're happy to deliver your belongings to your room before you arrive with out Ship to School service.
Mertz- Located just north of David Kemp and Alice Paul, Mertz shares a limited roundabout parking area with these two other dorms. Mertz has an elevator with access to every floor.
Parrish- The hub of campus, Parrish is the same building where you'll get your key and move-in information. There is parking accessible from the Main Entrance as well as the South Entrance, one small traffic circle on each side. Parrish has elevators to reach the dorm rooms, which are on the 3rd and 4th floors.
Wharton- Swarthmore's largest dorm, Wharton is located in the northwest corner of campus, next to Dana and Hallowell. There are about 15 parking spaces behind the dorm, but you'll have to carry your belongings up stairs or around the building to get to the entrances. The building has no elevators, but we're happy to deliver your belongings to your room before you arrive with out Ship to School service.
Willets- Willets, which the largest number of first years and sophomores call home, is on the eastern edge of campus. There is limited parking on the side street, off Chester Road, where the main entrance is located. Willets has an elevator with access to every floor, but the one car-accessible entrance features a short flight of stairs before you can get to the elevator.
